Durch den Abend führen zwei absolute Routiniers, Jay Sanders (Jagged /Bonzzaj / Quintessential) & Smirre aus Bern.

Jay Sanders (Bild) und Smirre kennen sich seit frühster Jugend. Da ist viel Vertrauen, viel Wissen über den anderen. Grundlagen, die ein gemeinsames Funktionieren begünstigen. Auch hinter dem DJ-Pult. Und da harmoniert’s extra bei den Zweien. Was der eine an Groove reingibt, ergänzt der andere mit Basslast. Wenn der eine Tempo macht, schaltet der andere in höhere Gänge – der Motor soll schliesslich laufen, nicht überlaufen.

Everyone is unique in his or her own way, sure, and everyone can be an artist in this era of unlimited possibilities – at least virtually. Yet there is that certain something that nobody can acquire, with neither money nor effort, that natural charisma or a certain aura.

Whatever it may be, the Round Table Knights have it and with the wind at their backs it's taken them on a 10 year journey from the Swiss province to the high plateaus of contemporary dance music where they have recently pitched their tents in the camps of Mowgli's 'Deadfish' label and Jesse Rose's 'Made To Play' label in preparation for the next climb.

The australian label Future Classic comes up with an other strong release. The hot summer tune "Do You Believe?" is the debut from LA production duo Poolside.

Big piano keys, whispered vocals, a light drizzling of 303 acid served at 105 bpm over a thick summer disco groove, with remixes by Jacques Renault feat. Tiffany Roth from Midnight Magic, James Curd and Cosmic Kids.

There's buzz on this tune! It was debuted by Aeroplane in their January 2011 mix for BBC Radio 1 and amassed over 10,000 YouTube plays for the video clip in just a week!
An end of summer hit for the Southern Hemisphere, while a welcome sign of Spring for the Northern Hemisphere.
